Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance is a nonprofit that relies on volunteers to keep the fun of the festival alive and running smoothly. Point blank, if it weren’t for our volunteers, our festival wouldn’t be the same.
We know you want to be a part of making your favorite festival a success and we love all the energy you bring to the farm.
Whether you’re interested in helping with the Kids Tent, Recycling, Ticket Booth, or something else, you get to pick your crew and shifts. Register early to ensure you get your preferred time and crew.
Remember, no matter how many shifts you sign up for, they all must be on the same crew.
Have you heard the best part? Not only will you put smiles on festival faces, you’ll also receive a 4-Day pass when you work 16 hours before or after the festival, or 12 hours during the festival.
Are you a night owl who wouldn’t mind working your volunteer shifts at night? Sign up for hard to fill late night shifts on the Parking or Gate crews, and you are only required to work two shifts (eight hours) instead of three to earn a weekend pass. OR, sign up for any two trash crew shifts (day or night) and we’ll hook you up with a weekend wristband.
Have you volunteered in the past year? Just sign in and update your profile for Spring.
Been a while since you volunteered or you are a first time volunteer? Click “Sign Up” on our volunteer portal, answer all the questions, and submit. It’s that easy!
We adore our volunteers and it is YOUR work that sets Shakori Hills apart from the rest.
If you have additional questions please review the Be a Volunteer page. If that page does not answer your question feel free to reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteershakori@grassrootsfest.org.
Thank you for your interest!
