All of the Movement Workshops take place in the Movement Tent, unless otherwise notated. The Movement Tent is located across the walking bridge to the right, heading away from the Food Court.
Our movement sessions are geared for all experience levels. A limited number of mats are available, however we encourage you to bring your own.

Multiple Day Programs
Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of awareness. A yogic science which combines movement, breath and manor allowing you to access your creative potential. Come and experience a fun and energizing yoga! Kids Rise n’ Shine Yoga
Start your day with Julie Wells and friends by stretching, breathing, flowing and relaxing in this yoga class for children of all ages. (Parents are welcome to join in or watch!) Vinyassa Hatha Yoga
Join Musician and Yoga Instrutor, Tain Collins for a soft flowing yoga class. All are welcome! Breath is synchronized with movement as a meditation in motion. Starting with gentle asanas, we will transition into a more challenging standing sequence and end with twisting and calming poses – a balanced class with attention to the entire body. Prana Vinyasa Yoga
Prana Vinyasa is an energetic, creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga cultivated by Shiva Rea and the Global Vinyasa Collective of teachers. Students of all levels are invited and empowered to experience Prana – the Universal source of breath, life-energy and conscious intelligence as the navigating source of yoga practice and vital living. Join Joey “Dirt” Marion, dance teacher, yoga teach-er and physical therapist, in exploration of body, time and space through movement. This class will focus on awareness of our own natural movement patterns and the breaking away from them in order to communicate with ourselves, others and the Earth. The purpose is to step outside of our comfort zones and connect with something natural through our innate abilities for dancing. All are Welcome! Friday, 1:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 p.m.
In this vinyasa flow class we will synchronize breath, movement and mantras to reduce stress and increase emotional and physical wellbeing. Join Shakira Bethea as she brings compassion, love and a powerful presence to her teachings, reminding you of your own power! Join her and flow on this beautiful land together!

In this all-levels class, students will focus on linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. Alignment-based cues will be provided to ensure a safe practice, while allowing for a playful and exploratory sequence of poses.

All levels VinYin is the perfect balance between yin and yang. Class starts with Vinyasa and end with Yin yoga, leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed. The active practice of vinyasa flow requires us to tap into our yang energy as we move dynamically from pose to pose. The yin practice, rooted in the Taoist yoga tradition, is slower paced and postures are held longer. Yin yoga targets the connective tissues healing to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility.

Guided Breath Work
Join Integrative Intuitive Healer Brooksie Edwards in guided breath work and meditation. Reconnecting with our breath can enhance our energetic radiance, our physical health and our psychological well-being. Thai Yoga Bodywork
This workshop is a gentle and restorative yoga practice combined with the healing modalities of massage, bodywork and Thai massage; expanding and deepening one’s connection to the body, mind and spirit. While the asanas are being held, adjustments and bodywork are integrated into the practice to encourage discovery and awareness for one’s health, healing and well-being.
Led by Crystal Hetrick. Friday, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Comprised of the terms “tension” and “integrity,” Tensegrity is a modern version of movement called “magical passes,” developed by Shamans who lived in Mexico prior to the Spanish conquest. Jordan Puryear will lead you through held poses and muscle movement leaving you refreshed for the day ahead. Dance Tent, Saturday, 10:00 a.m.
Hatha Vinyasa Flow
A slower, inward practice where poses are held for extended periods of time allowing for the practice of letting go. Exploring our potential for greater openness and respecting our limitations, we will use the body and focused breath, building intensity to work at a deeper level with our emotions and our minds, helping us to free old patterns. Staying low to the floor for this practice, with greatest emphasis on the hips, pelvis and lower back.
Led by Yoga instructor Scott Campbell. Open to all levels. Saturday, 5:00 p.m.
Long, Slow & Deep Dance Relief Yoga
This is a specialty class designed for Shakori Hills to keep you feeling amazing so you can dance your way to bliss. 90 minutes of seated and reclined restorative postures as well as breathing techniques to open up and soothe your dancing bodies. This class is intended to help you get the most of your Shakori experience!
Appropriate for all levels! Offered by Crystal Hetrick. Saturday, 12:00 a.m. (MIDNIGHT)
This fresh fierce flow is accompanied by master drummers Sheila Fleming and Scott Durso. You will build heat, strength and community. Led by instructor Leehan Schmitt, she will assist as she teaches with the intention of providing grounding, safety and growth. Dance Tent, Sunday, 9:00 a.m.
