YAS Yoga

Yoga with Auditory Silliness: Release the frog in your throat through fun breathwork, intertwined with an asana flow to target cranky places in the body. Perfect for after hootin’, hollerin’ and dancin’!  Zoe Gobetz – Thursday & Friday 2-3pm

You Vinyasa

Vinyasa yoga inspired by you! Move through listening to your body. Jenn Newton – Thursday 3-4pm & Sunday 10-11am


Restorative Yoga

This class will have passive, gentle poses held for extended periods of time with focus on improving mental/physical health and releasing tension. All levels welcome. Christine Veit – Thursday 4-5pm; Jaz Boler – Friday & Saturday 5-6pm

Mindfulness Meditation

A warm welcome to pause and be still, check in with yourself, and allow whatever’s arising for you during this Shakori Hills Festival. Mindfulness meditation is a silent practice in which focusing on our breath helps us cultivate ease, presence, curiosity, compassion and many other qualities with whatever we encounter in life. No experience necessary. All levels welcome. Shivonne Tessa Quintero – Thursday 5-6pm & Sunday 9-10am


Slow Flow

A soothing blend of gentle movements, slow-flow yoga, breathwork and sound healing designed to harmonize the mind, body and spirit. All levels welcome. Ce’Ara Cannon – Friday 8-9am; Saturday 2-3pm


Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini yoga involves chanting, singing and breathing exercises along with repetitive poses. Its purpose is to activate your Kundalini energy, or shakti. This is a spiritual energy that’s said to be located at the base of your spine. This practice is also called “Yoga of awareness.” Brooksie Edwards (Friday) and Katie Johnson (Saturday) in the Dance Tent with Live Music by Amy Durso, Lolly Dunlap & Sheila Fleming 8:30-10am


Vinyasa

Vinyasa is a yoga practice connecting movement to breath. Expanding and stretching the connective tissues and energy flow of the body, this practice is moving meditation. Accessible to all levels.

Strength and Flexibility

A class focused on flexibility, breathwork, strength training and meditation. Angelo Iovino – Friday & Saturday 11am-12pm


Warrior Love

Love like a warrior—a playful dive into the mythology of the warrior poses that bring strength, flexibility and balance. Justin Bost – Friday & Saturday 1-2pm


Hatha Yoga 

Classical sivananda style yoga with basic asanas, pranayama and deep relaxation. Tain Collins – Friday & Saturday 3-4pm


Classical Yoga

This practice is drawn from the eight limbs and nine forms, intended for the purpose of self-realization. A slow and integrative practice to bring new awareness and inner guidance. All are welcome. Crystal Hetrick – Friday & Saturday 4-5pm


Sivananda

Balanced asanas with pranayama and sun salutations. Postures working with breath to open and balance all chakras of the body. Ione Linker – Saturday & Sunday 7:30-9am


Sun Yoga 

Salute the Sun with a vigorous, vinyasa based flow class. Suited towards those with previous yoga experience.Included are longer sequences, balance, strength building and deep rest. Christine Veit – Saturday 9-10am


Tensegrity

Comprised of the terms “tension” and “integrity,” Tensegrity is a modern version of held poses and muscle movement called “magical passes,” developed by Shamans in Mexico prior to the Spanish conquest. Jordan Puryear – Dance Tent, Saturday 10am
