Parents Morning Share

Bring your coffee and chat with other like-minded caregivers during this morning meet-up at the Parents Lounge inside the kids park. Seedlings & Sprouts Park – Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10am

Kids Yoga

Join Amelia in this fun yoga class for all ages. Use breath, movement and imaginative play to start your day off right. Cabaret Tent, Saturday 10am

Camp Earthlings

Learn how to be a good Earthling and earn an award! Megan is a Sustainability and Environmental professional bringing her knowledge and talents to this fun camp experience which combines science, nature, art, meditation and movement. Seedlings Park, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 11am

Spirit Camp 

Spirit Camp with Eva is a holistic workshop that focuses on learning about chakras, meditation, and how to use these tools for daily living. Join us for this unique opportunity and experience!  Kids Tent, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12pm

Tie-Dye & Screen Print

Bring your favorite T-shirt or small prayer flag to tie-dye with Arlo and the Hempsmith team! Bring it back on Sunday to screen print or make a Mother’s Day card!  Kids Tent – Tie Dye, Friday 1pm; Screen-Printing, Sunday 1pm

Seeing Sounds Station

Formerly “Sound Science Demos,” Seeing Sounds is now available all day, every day, after its unveiling on Friday. Brought to us by first-year Duke students from Pratt School of Engineering. Seedlings Park, Friday 1pm


Mask-Making

The fabulous women of WINGs will help you get geared up and decked out for the Happiness Parade! Kids Tent, Saturday 1pm


Puppet Show

Rabbit Foot Puppetry is back to present another amazing show this Spring! Join Abby Palen and her fabulous puppeteers from Rabbit Foot Puppetry for this stupendous performance under the Big Top. Kids Tent, Friday & Sunday 2pm 

Ofrendas

The practice of Ofrendas is an ancient gratitude ritual passed down from the South American Andes culture. Join Tia Christina to create your own mandala offering out of biodegradable elements that represent earth, air, fire and water. Connect with and honor our land and our ancestors with Christina Travera. Kids Tent, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 3pm


Drumming For Wellness

Join “Cindy~Anna~Jones” and Drumming for Wellness NC as she introduces her collection of world percussion and facilitates a drum circle for the kiddos and family community.  Kids Tent, Friday & Saturday 5-6pm

KIDS BAZAAR

_ Sign up 30 minutes before the Bazaar at the Service Desk under The Big Top. 

_ All items must be handmade by youth 15 & under. (Youth artists may register for space.) Items must sell for $5 or less. 

_ Feel free to bring set-ups for your booth. Fabric for on-the-ground display space will be provided.

Children’s Creative Movement and Family Lunchtime

Enjoy lighthearted dance activities, movement games and global beats. Everyone is welcome to join in and embrace their dancing spirit. Taught by Lydia Lopez. Cabaret Tent, Friday 10-11am


Dr. Fruit

Dr. Fruit’s intelligent kids’ tunes combine a youthful passion for social change with playful attitudes towards gender, vegetables, and biology. By taking on bold themes such as climate change, queerness, and the importance of being yourself, Dr. Fruit embraces the serious, the silly, and the seriously silly. Cabaret Tent, Friday 11:30am

Wall of Sound

Wall of Sound is a Durham-based music center that strives to provide youngsters with fun and practical instruction from dedicated professional musicians. Students learn both the fundamentals of music and the ins and outs of being a touring musician from their own local scene. Join us in welcoming the kids of Wall of Sound more as they bring forth their own wall of sound to the hills of Shakori! Cabaret Tent, Saturday 11am


Broccoli Brothers Circus

Sure to entertain kids and parents alike, Broccoli Brothers Circus combines original music, puppetry and multimedia art for an engaging and educational blast of entertainment. Cabaret Tent, Saturday 12:30pm


Tai Chi & QiGong

Join Maestra Imari as she guides you through meditative movement in this hour of ancient and powerful practice. Cabaret Tent, Sunday 10am


School of Rock – Chapel Hill

School of Rock is a music school providing young local musicians with opportunities in the music industry, offering one-on-one lessons that blossom into full band performances. Catch these talented groups of youngsters performing hits from both classic and contemporary acts that’ll get crowds young and old shouting and swaying along to these timeless tracks.
