Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival features a variety of organizations centered around physical, emotional or spiritual wellness over the course of each festival. Wellness Way applications have now closed for Spring 2025.

Whether you’re an introvert seeking relaxation and authentic connection or an extrovert looking for a smooth energy boost without the crash, cacao has something for everyone. Grab a cup of hot or chilled chocolate to go, or enjoy an intuitive personal cacao ceremony to make this festival a profound and healing experience, all without a hangover.

CELESTIAL WELLNESS – Based in the heart of North Carolina, Celestial Wellness is a grassroots company with a strong focus on community, quality and education. Celestial also helps support local musicians and artists with opportunity, support and sponsorship. Visit their vendor tent for craft cannabis and mushroom products—all made with love. GROOVE WAGON – GrooveWagon is Raleigh’s Cali-Sober Beverage Company for folks who are sorta over booze but are still down to catch a buzz. HONEYBEE HEMP FARMS – Hailing from Lewisville, Honeybee Hemp Farms creates hemp- and mushroom-infused honey, topicals and dog biscuits. Their mission is to support the pollinator population and address addictive patterns, with a focus on the opioid epidemic.  They practice regenerative farming and offer Reiki healing energy throughout their crop production and creation of products.

HEART SONG FARM – Just three miles from Shakori Hills is pretty dang local! Heart Song grows everything with sustainable practices and the goal to leave our land and people better than we found them. Whimsical handmade flower crowns and fairy wands made for kids and adults with all plant materials grown on their farm. Located at the back of the Meadow Field

WE NEED THE BEES – Come by the Ask a Beekeeper tent where you can chat with local beekeepers from Chatham and surrounding counties, watch honey bees at work in an observation hive, get a feel for beekeeping equipment, learn about area resources and try a taste of local honey. Bring your questions, queries and curiosities!  We’ve got answers! Open daily from 11am - 6pm, by the Sustainability Pavilion
