Capture the Flag with Foam Swords: Join Eleni Delopoulos and Ehren Remal for a fun-filled session of Capture the Flag with foam swords! Chill Collective: Chill Collective is a collaborative space to give teens the opportunity for a creative outlet. Board games, cards and art at hand. Connect with your community on collective projects! Thur 6:30pm; Fri 11am; Sat 6pm
Wilderness Survival: Build your self-reliance in outdoor survival by learning techniques and tools commonly used to keep you safe in the wilderness. Fri 12pm
Drum Making: Learn a brief history of the drums and the art of playing them. In this workshop, Johnny will help each student construct their own instrument to take home! Fri 1pm
Maker Space: Practice your knot-tying skills with these fun crafts! Make a reusable shopping bag out of old T-shirts or a water bottle holder to keep you hydrated in style. T-shirt donations gladly accepted! Fri 2pm; Sat 5pm
Candle Making: Come learn the ancient art of candle-making in a fun and eclectic environment. Alexis will guide our participants through the process! Fri 4pm
Kung Fu: Dive into the world of Chinese Martial Arts with Maestra Imari. Participants will be guided through the fundamentals, spirit and core philosophies of Kung Fu, including both the mellow and active sides, and end with breathwork/meditation. Fri 5pm
Open Mic: Join Trent, a seasoned emcee, for an exciting Open Mic! Show off your talent and passion to share with family and friends. Fri 6pm
QiGong: Start off your Saturday right by finding your flow. Dr. Heather Grant will facilitate a peaceful QiGong class for your health and happiness! Sat 11am
Leather Working: Come learn Leather Making 101 with Coty Bleakley. Coty is a tradesman that practices old craftsmanship like carpentry and leatherworking. Take home a new skill and timeless tradition. Sat 12pm
Tie Dye: Join Rebecca Benson from Blooming Bear Dyes for eclectic, one-of-a-kind tie dye using fiber-reactive liquid dyes. Inspired by humanity, nature and the vast array of rainbow colors the Earth brings. Choose from a range of sizes and three designs to make the coolest tie-dye around. Sat 2pm & Sun 12pm
Spirit Sticks: Have you ever been lost in the crowd and needed a guiding light to your friends? We’ve got the craft for you! Come make your very own spirit stick to use at Shakori Hills! Sat 3pm
3-Point Contest: Ball is Life at The Outpost! Each participant will have 60 seconds to make as many shots as possible, from anywhere behind the 3-point line. 1st Place: Shakori Festival T-Shirt; 2nd Place: Two Coffee Barn tickets; 3rd Place: One Coffee Barn ticket; Craziest Shot: Surprise Award! Hoop Jam: Sunday morning spin with Jordan! Learn basic techniques and tricks of hooping to vibe out your day. Sun 11am
Painting Happy Trees: Join Brian for our Bob Ross themed painting class where you too can learn that there are no mistakes in art! Each artist will be provided paint and a canvas. Feel free to dress up and win an award for the Best Bob Ross Inspired Costume! Sun 1pm
