Tent Camping on-site is based on price per tent at the prices outlined above. Each tent camping pass is good for one (1) 10×10 feet tent/canopy/tarp or smaller. Anything larger will need two passes.
Tent Camping is on a first come, first serve basis. Roping to save space is not allowed.
Tent Camping does not include vehicle parking in our front parking lot, which is an additional $15 per day or $25 for the weekend per vehicle.
Vehicle & RV Camping
Vehicle and RV Camping passes are good for all 4 days of the festival. Camping space is available on a first come, first served basis. Roping off to save space is not allowed.
A Vehicle Camping Pass (car or tow-behind camper and tow vehicle total length under 25 feet) includes space for one vehicle and PLUS small tents (each smaller than 10x10 feet) OR one big tent/canopy (larger than 10×10 feet) at the prices outlined above. You may receive up to two (2) Tent Camping Passes with your Vehicle Pass. Tents larger than 10×10 feet will require two (2) passes. In order for the vehicle/camper to enter the camping area (to drive past the ticket booth) a Camping Pass has to be adhered on the vehicle: on the upper driver’s side windshield; or on an RV/camper without windshield: on the door of the RV/camper.
An RV Camping Pass (camper + tow vehicle or RV/camper 25 feet or over) includes space for one camper + tow vehicle, or one large camper, PLUS two (2) Tent Camping Passes (each smaller than 10x10 feet) or one (1) big tent/canopy (larger than 10×10 feet). In order for the vehicle/camper to enter the camping area (to drive past the ticket booth) a Camping Pass has to be adhered on the vehicle: on the upper driver’s side windshield; or on an RV/camper without windshield: on the door of the RV/camper.
RVs and buses 30 feet and longer are limited to the front camping area adjacent to the main parking lot.
There are no RV hook ups on-site, and generators are not allowed unless for medical reasons.
A camping sticker needs to be displayed on each vehicle and tent that is camping. If you are camping with a vehicle and a camper, each of them must have a sticker. If you want to park the vehicle that is towing the camper in the front parking lot, you must purchase a 4-day parking pass.
Discounts
Kids 12 and under are free! When accompanied by a ticket holding parent or legal guardian.
Chatham County Residents – $5 off DAY tickets with proof of residence at the gate.
Senior Citizens (60+) – $5 off DAY tickets at the gate.
Military Veterans– $5 off DAY tickets at the gate with identification.
Students -$5 off DAY tickets with student ID at the gate.
Group Rates -$5 off each ticket for groups of 10 or more (please contact us for group sales).
Youth (13-15) Single Day Tickets: Available at the ticket booth only. Thursday $27, Friday $36, Saturday $36, Sunday $25. Must be accompanied by a parent (or guardian 18 or older).
We accept Cash, Visa, MC, American Express & Discover. There is an ATM on location.
Youth Policy
Children 15 and under are not allowed without a parent or legal guardian present. Youth one-day and four-day passes will not be sold to youth without a parent (or guardian aged 18 or older) present.
Refunds
All ticket and camping purchases are final and there are no refunds. In the event of cancellation, tickets will be transferred to the next possible festival.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK: YOU are RESPONSIBLE
There are inherent risks associated with being at a Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival or at a Shakori Hills event. By participating in a Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival in any way (ticket purchaser, volunteer, staff, performer, vendor, etc) you are fully responsible for your physical and mental self, your belongings, your vehicle, your actions, injuries, accidents, illness, property damage, or other occurrence arising in any manner whatsoever out of your participation in activities sponsored by Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival. In addition, all persons attending this event, by their presence, may be photographed, videotaped, or broadcasted and waive any claim related to the use of their image for promotional purposes for Shakori Hills.
